The largest so far of my Cubist Cowboys series. Years ago, my wife told me about a frame sitting out by the curb. I went and grabbed it, and noticed it was definitely built awhile ago. Rough cut finish sides, hand routered in the back to fit the original painting in. It had a white milkpaint wash finish and some cuts are not perfect fits, but I LOVE this frame because it tells even more of a story. It’s been sanded down, finished in gloss black, reinforced. I believe it adds a character to the final work.
